Access Rights

The design system is designed for designers and developers. They work with the system all the time. Content editors can find all information on how to build pages on the Editor Portal, but they can find the information on how to choose which content block to use on the web styleguide.

Developers use the design system to view technical information about modules. It is the single source of truth for the latest version of the design and holds detailed information about elements and modules of the website. Developers have view-only rights.

There are two categories of designers: Core Designers and Default Designers. Default Designers use existing modules to build new website experiences. They can use the system as a library in an extra design file. Core Designers manage and develop the design system. They are responsible for keeping the design system up-to-date. The Core Designers are the only user group with editing rights for the design system.
